BioTe Hormone Therapy

What is BioTe Hormone Therapy?

Hormonal Health, Refined.

  • As we age, the production of hormones can be affected. Too much or too little of a hormone can have effects on the body, ranging from moderate to severe. The Biote Method of specialized hormone pellet therapy uses custom-compounded pellets specifically designed to replace the hormones men and women lose over time.

  • Pellets are tiny, custom-compounded therapies for symptoms that stem from hormonal imbalances. The Biote Method may help keep a patient’s hormone levels consistent throughout the day. The pellet therapy that Biote trains on uses hormones that are bioidentical to those found in the human body.

  • Each patient’s symptoms are unique, and so is each patient’s path to hormone optimization through BHRT. Most bioidentical hormone replacement therapy patients report some relief in as soon as four weeks, but full optimization may take up to six months or more. Some report feeling the most benefits after their second insertion. The bioidentical hormones for our hormone pellet therapy are customized to fit your patient’s specific needs.

The bioidentical hormone replacement therapy journey is customized to fit your patient’s specific needs.

  • During pellet therapy, pellets are inserted subcutaneously into the body in a quick, simple, in-office procedure. These pellets will gradually be absorbed, dispersing hormones throughout the body. Hormone replacement patients receive as few as two bioidentical hormone pellet insertions per year. The hormone is available when their bodies need it, and it’s a simple procedure done right in the provider’s office.

The BioTe Process

  • Step One - Consultation

During your initial consultation, our providers will ask a series of questions to ensure that you are a good candidate for Hormone Replacement Therapy.

Then they will place orders for your lab work. Once your labs come in, your provider will call you to go over them with you.

    Labs & Initial Consultation: $299

  • Step Two - Lab Work

After your consultation, your provider will order labs. These labs will be more in depth than what is done by your general practitioner to better help identity the best treatment plan.

We have partnered with Clinical Pathology Laboratories to get our patients cash priced labs. This payment will be bundled with your consult for best pricing.

  • Step Three - Pellet Insertion

A Biote pellet insertion is a minimally invasive procedure where small, bioidentical hormone pellets, similar in size to a grain of rice, are inserted under the skin, usually in the hip area to gradually release hormones directly into the bloodstream, mimicking the body’s natural hormone production. This procedure is done in a doctor's office using local anesthetic and a tiny incision, with the pellets providing a sustained hormone level over several months.

  • Step Four - Follow Up

After getting a BioTE pellet inserted, a follow-up appointment with your healthcare provider is typically scheduled around four weeks post-insertion to check your hormone levels through blood work and assess how your body is responding to the pellets; this allows for any necessary dosage adjustments based on your symptoms and lab results.

Your provider will then discuss scheduling your next pellet insertion.
